trouble in Outlook Express

What would you do if ..even if it’s accidentally.. you deleted some of your superior’s files?
if you asked that question back to me… I would say..

I don’t know… maybe I’ll kill my self and commit suicide..

and that what i feel now.. and it feels so terrible..
as an IT support, it something that nonsense to be a mistake.
the rules are.. Don’t see other’s files, don’t ever deleted them.. and now? it happens..
The mail client on that computer having a trouble, It can not send and receive mail from the server. I need to move all the mail in inbox to another new folder. but I didn’t see any mails in that inbox, but the inbox.dbx have a 2 Gigs in size
so, after moving all the mails in inbox (if there are mail inside the inbox), close the mail client (in this case is outlook express) and go to the *.dbx store folder in something like this (default)

C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{7F8DD003-0A8C-47F0-8462-8D24E83968F4}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

and delete the “inbox.dbx”.
Run again the the mail client and it will make a new “inbox.dbx”.. and move the mails inside “the new folder” back to inbox (if there are mails inside the inbox in the first place)…

but then the problems now… remember what i said before? that i didn’t see any mails inside the inbox, so i didn’t move anything…
i just deleted the inbox.dbx, then run again the mail client.
n now, my superior said that there are some mails missing from her inbox.
ahh…. I feel so stupid.. even when i tried to restore the old “inbox.dbx” from the recycle bin, it still no use at all.. there still no mails in the inbox..
ahhh… at least i know one thing now… check and recheck the data before deleting something…
